If you are looking for a place to cool down, the Sigler Park Splash Pad might be what you are looking for. You can see from the picture what this park is all about but basically the kids get wet by running through different water sprays. There are also cute pelican heads which fill up with water and then dump all the water on the courageous kids standing underneath them. When your kids are bored with the water they can also enjoy a fun “dry” playground just outside the splash pad. Lots of fun and free!
Sigler Splash Pad:
Weekends: May 27th – June 18th from 12 Noon – 5pm
Daily: June 24th – Sept. 4th from 12 Noon – 5pm
Address: 7200 Plaza Street, Westminster, 92683
Parking: there is free street parking all around the park. You shouldn’t have any problems finding a spot.
Shade/Sitting area: there are several tables in the shade but it is hard to find a seat. You can normally find a seat on the benches around the splash pad but keep in mind they are in the sun and sometimes you get splashed. So the seating situation is not ideal, but it is not a big deal. If you are patient, you will find a spot.
This is the park right outside the gate of the Sigler Splash Pad.
Amenities: 2 playground structures, BBQs, handball courts, restrooms, shade shelter, softball fields, picnic tables in the shade, and basketball courts.
