Ride the Christmas Train for free

Do you want to ride the Christmas Train at the Irvine Park Railroad for free and enjoy the activities at the Santa’s Village at no cost? It is possible, but I hope you are an early riser.

On Thursday , December 7th,  KTLA Channel 5 and Henry DiCarlo will broadcast live from the Irvine Park Railroad to collect new and unwrapped toys for the Salvation Army’s annual toy drive. 

Each person that brings a new and unwrapped toy will receive a FREE train rides to visit Santa, FREE Christmas Train activities, and also receive a FREE regular Irvine Park Railroad train ticket (one ticket per toy). There will be NO COST to ride the train this morning only, and you may bring your personal camera to take pictures with Santa.

So between 5am and 9:30am you can enjoy all the holiday activities for free:

Ride the Christmas Train: 5:00 am – 7:00 am
Christmas Train Activities: 7:00 am – 9:30 am

Free coffee and hot chocolate will be served beginning at 5:00 am.

IMPORTANT NOTE

This event may be cancelled by KTLA Channel 5 ONLY if there is major, breaking news. Please check the Irvine Park Railroad Facebook page, or Twitter before you visit the park for this event.
