We Rock The Spectrum Kid's Gym

We Rock the Spectrum Kid’s Gym is a sensory gym in Orange County that is amazing for all kids! Kids can climb, balance, jump, and swing using unique equipment which was developed to assist all children in their neurological growth and development. Fun and healthy play for everyone!

Also, I love that parents don’t have to pay! You only pay for the kids and you get to play with them for free.

You should also know that they offer a We Rock Care program, so you can leave the premises and run some errands…or go home and watch TV. Lana, the owner, is amazing with the kids. She doesn’t just keep an eye on them, she interacts with them and engages with them to explore new activities. My kids, who are normally wary of new people, started playing with her almost immediately…which was awesome for me so that I could just relax and take a break from my mommy duties for a bit.

What to expect:

  • Suspended equipment with swings – for balance and vestibular treatment
  • Crash mats and crash pillows – for fun, motor planning, and strength
  • Zip line – for stress release and joint and body relaxation
  • Trampoline – for building leg and core strength
  • Indoor play structure – for climbing and increasing playground skills
  • Sensory-based toys – for improved auditory processing and fine motor skills
  • Fine Motor and Arts and Crafts Area – for improved hand-eye coordination

SeascapeLet’s be honest; indoor playgrounds can feel a little claustrophobic at times. But not Seascape Kids Fun in Anaheim. It’s never crowded on the weekdays and kids are able to get their wiggles out while parents relax in the cafe or chat with their friends. It’s also easy to see your child while they play. Seascape Kids Fun is also much more affordable than other indoor playgrounds throughout Orange County, especially if you use a Groupon! We also love their colorful beach theme throughout the building.

2016-03-15 14.14.10

Highlights:

  • The Beach Ball Room contains a giant colorful padded two-story play structure complete with foam balls, slides, air guns, and fun “ball spitter-outers” (my kids’ term, not mine!)
  • Baskets and bags to collect foam balls for easy transport to the second level
  • Two air hockey tables are also in the Beach Ball Room
  • The Aquarium Room contains three inflatables: one slide, one obstacle course, and one traditional bounce house
  • A toddler play area for your littlest ones conveniently located in the Aquarium Room so you can watch your older kids while they play
  • There are plenty of tables and chairs in both rooms and you can bring food with you or purchase snacks from a vending machine
  • There is no time limit with your purchase so stay as long as you like
  • Free wifi if you need to get a little work done while for kids play

Know Before You Go:

  • Socks are required for anyone entering the playground. They do have them available for purchase for $2.00 each.
  • Seascape Kids recommends wearing pants and long sleeves to avoid slide burns but it is not required
  • Grab a “frequency card” and receive a free open play pass after 9 visits
  • Party Packages start at $250 and include a private party room, a party host/hostess, party set-up, and clean up
  • There is no staff monitoring the play areas. We’ve never had a problem with unruly kids but I suppose it could happen. Keep an eye on your kids to be safe.
  • There is no one cleaning up the tables so you may want to bring your own wipes if you’re a germaphobe like me
  • There are no restrictions in terms of outside food so if your child has severe allergies use caution
  • Open Play Hours vary based on the day. They usually open at 10:00 AM and close at various times depending on their party schedules. Be sure you check the calendar on their website before you go.

Rockin' Jump Orange County

Rockin’ Jump Orange County is a beautiful Orange County Trampoline Park. In addition to the Open Jump Arena, the facility has a rock tower, x-beam arena, stunt bag arena, slam dunk zone, laser maze, iPlay, and a dodgeball area.  They also have plenty of comfortable seating for parents and a café with meals prepared on site.  With a variety of activities offered throughout the week, you are sure to find a time for your kids to visit so they can burn off some energy.

  • The Stunt Bag Arena provides an opportunity for kids to try tricks like they see in the movies in the safest way possible.
  • Just like in “Mission Impossible,” kids can weave in and out of laser beams while trying to beat the clock in the Tripwire.
  • Rockin’ Dunk lets kids practice their slam dunks while getting major air on their way to the basket.
  • Rockin’ Jump cleans the park two to three times per day.
  • The staff is always friendly and enforces the rules to keep kids safe.
  • There are plenty of places to sit all over the park. You can easily see your kids even if you choose not to jump with them.
