Pumpkinpalooza at Zoomars

Maruska —  October 11, 2017

It’s that time of year again… pumpkins everywhere! The Zoomars pumpkin patch is a family favorite and this year did not disappoint. We fed guinea pigs, ran through the hay maze, read the adorable story about a square pumpkin, colored pictures, and decorated pumpkins. This year, we also mined for gems and for $5 the kids were amazed by the “precious” stones they collected. Zoomars has lots of other activities such as riding on a train or pony for additional fees.

To make a day of it, you can easily ride the Metrolink train and get off in San Juan Capistrano, grab lunch or treats at nearby restaurants in the Los Rios district, watch trains, or play at Los Rios Park.

Pumpkinpalooza:

October 1 – 31, 2017, daily 9am to 5pm.

This event features storytime, games, face painting, pony rides, petting zoo, music and even live animal presentations. Kids can also participate in fantastic crafts with the purchase of a re-usable canvas bag ($5).
