We visited as a guest of Knott’s Berry Farm

What could be better than a day at Knott’s Berry Farm?  You’ve got it: Knott’s MERRY Farm!  In addition to the rides, shows, and food that Knott’s is already known for, they’ve sprinkled holiday cheer throughout the park to make it even more fun.  Our family loved every minute of our trip and it definitely put us in the Christmas spirit!  Now through January 7th, your family can visit and enjoy these festive attractions at Knott’s Berry Farm.

Attend one of the many Christmas shows throughout the day including the “Calico Saloon Christmas Show” in the Calico Saloon, “A Christmas Carol” or “Gift of the Magi” in the Bird Cage Theatre, “A PEANUTS Guide to Christmas” in the Camp Snoopy Theatre, or “It’s the Merriest Christmas Show Ever, Charlie Brown” at the Calico Mining Stage.

While you’re there, choose from a variety of holiday snacks including: Santa’s Homemade Cookies and Milk, Tamales, Cheesecake on a Stick, Warm Roasted Nuts, Egg Nog, Coffee and a Hot Cocoa Bar complete with marshmallows and peppermint topping.

Go to the Calico Tree Lighting Ceremony and take a picture in front of the gorgeous tree when it’s all lit up.

Be dazzled by the “Merry Christmas, Snoopy!” Ice Show. This was the highlight of our trip.  They change the show every year so even if you’ve been in the past, you won’t want to miss it this year.

Railroad Magic

Maruska —  November 20, 2017

railroad-magicThe Railroad Magic is a MUST see for children that love trains. Admission is FREE. My son loved being able to control Thomas the train, watching multiple trains travel on the tracks, and the opportunity to play with trains at a train table. In addition to this there was an impressive LEGO display to look at that included a train. Between City Hall and the Library you can take your child to visit Santa. Santa will be in his workshop with Mrs. Claus every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday from 6-8 p.m. starting November 29th through December 20.
